Client: Clyde Bergemann Senior Thermal Value: $4.8m Description: Eraring Power Station is sited in a natural dip on the western shore of Lake Macquarie near the township of Dora Creek. Works comprised of foundations including excavation, disposal of material on site, temporary works, blinding, reinforced concrete, supply and installation of embedment’s and backfilling. Construction of roads and hardstands, trenching for services and ducts and installation of over 6000 meters of HCSD pipeline. |

Client: Goodman Value: $13m Description: New Industrial Estate comprising of mass land clearing and tree removal, bulk excavation, stormwater drainage, estate roadworks and construction of numerous retaining walls over the site. Importation of over 300,000 cubic meters of material to fill the site to new design levels was required over the site, with areas of fill varying from 2 to 8 meters. During filling there were stages which saw 680 loaded truck & dog’s entering the site with filling material. Full time traffic controllers and personnel were required to watch the site entry during this stage. |
